  1. Introduction.

These website terms and conditions contained herein on this webpage, shall govern your use of this website, including all pages within this website (referred to herein below as this “website”). These Terms apply in full force and effect to your use of this website and by using this website, you expressly accept all terms and conditions contained herein in full. You must not use this website, if you have any objection to any of these terms and conditions.

This website is not for use by any minors (defined as those who are not at least 18 years of age), and you must not use this website if you a minor.

Other than content you own, which you may have opted to include on this website, under these Terms, BSO Multimedia and/or its licensors own all rights to the intellectual property and material contained in this website, and all such rights are reserved.

You are granted a limited license only, subject to the restrictions provided in these Terms, for purposes of viewing the material contained on this Website,

You are expressly and emphatically restricted from all of the following:

  1. Publishing any Website material in any media; with the exception of the deliverable files resulting from the contracting of projects with BSO Multimedia.
  2. Selling, sublicensing and/or otherwise commercializing any website material; with the exception of the deliverable files resulting from the contracting of projects with BSO Multimedia.
  3. Publicly performing and/or showing any website material; with the exception of the deliverable files resulting from the contracting of projects with BSO Multimedia.
  4. Using this website in any way that is, or may be, damaging to this website;
  5. Using this website in any way that impacts user access to this website;
  6. Using this website contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in a way that causes, or may cause, harm to the website, or to any person or business entity;
  7. Engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting or any other similar activity in relation to this website, or while using this website;
  8. Using this website to engage in any advertising or marketing;

Certain areas of this website are restricted from access by you and BSO Multimedia may further restrict access by you to any areas of this website, at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion.  Any user ID and password you may have for this website are confidential and you must maintain confidentiality of such information.

  1. Your Content.

In these website terms and conditions, “Your Content” shall mean any audio, video, text, images or other material you choose to display on this website.

Your Content must be your own and must not be infringing on any third party’s rights. BSO Multimedia reserves the right to remove any of Your Content from this website at any time, and for any reason, without notice.

  1. No warranties.

This Website is provided “as is,” with all faults, and BSO Multimedia makes no express or implied representations or warranties, of any kind related to this website or the materials contained on this website. Additionally, nothing contained on this website shall be construed as providing consult or advice to you.

  1. Limitation of liability.

In no event shall BSO Multimedia, nor any of its officers, directors and employees, be liable to you for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this website, whether such liability is under contract, tort or otherwise, and BSO Multimedia, including its officers, directors and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this website.

  1. Indemnification.

You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent BSO Multimedia from and against any and all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.

  1. Severability.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.

  1. Variation of Terms.

BSO Multimedia is permitted to revise these terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this website you are expected to review such Terms on a regular basis to ensure you understand all terms and conditions governing use of this website.

  1. Assignment.

BSO Multimedia shall be permitted to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these terms without any notification or consent required. However, .you shall not be permitted to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these terms.

  1. Entire Agreement.

These terms, including any legal notices and disclaimers contained on this website, constitute the entire agreement between BSO Multimedia and you in relation to your use of this website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings with respect to the same.

  1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction.

These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Costa Rica, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Costa Rica for the resolution of any disputes.


Declaration of data protection for users of the European Union

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect when you use BSO Multimedia sites, services, mobile applications, products, and content (“Services”). It also has information about how we store, use, transfer, and delete that information. Our aim is not just to comply with privacy law. It’s to earn your trust.

1. Information We Collect & How We Use It.

BSO Multimedia doesn’t make money from ads. So we don’t collect data in order to advertise to you. The tracking we do at BSO Multimedia is to make our product work as well as possible.

In order to give you the best possible experience using BSO Multimedia, we collect information from your interactions with our network. Some of this information such as your email address, which we use to track your account or communicate with you. Other information, we collect based on actions you take while using BSO Multimedia, such as what pages you access and your interactions with our product features (VPS). This information includes records of those interactions, your Internet Protocol address, information about your device (such as device or browser type), and referral information.

We use this information to:

– Provide, test, improve, promote and personalize BSO Multimedia Services
– Fight spam and other forms of abuse
– Generate aggregate, non-identifying information about how people use BSO Multimedia Services

2. Information Disclosure.

BSO Multimedia won’t transfer information about you to third parties for the purpose of providing or facilitating third-party advertising to you. We won’t sell information about you.

We may share your account information when we have a good faith belief it is required by law, such as pursuant to a subpoena or other legal process; or when we have a good faith belief that doing so will help prevent imminent harm to someone.

If we are going to share your information in response to legal process, we’ll give you notice so you can challenge it (for example by seeking court intervention), unless we’re prohibited by law or believe doing so may endanger others. We will object to requests for information about users of our services that we believe are improper.

3. Data Storage.

BSO Multimedia uses third-party vendors and hosting partners, for hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology we need to run BSO Multimedia. We maintain two types of logs: server logs and event logs. By using BSO Multimedia Services, you authorize BSO Multimedia to transfer, store, and use your information in any country where we operate.

4. Tracking & Cookies.

We use browser cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you return to our Services. We use them in various ways, for example to log you in, remember your preferences (such as default language) and evaluate email effectiveness.

BSO Multimedia doesn’t track you across the Internet. We track only your interactions within the BSO Multimedia network (which encompasses bsomultimedia.com and custom domains hosted by BSO Multimedia).

Some third-party services that we use to provide the BSO Multimedia Service, such as Google Analytics, may place their own cookies in your browser. This Privacy Policy covers use of cookies by BSO Multimedia only and not the use of cookies by third parties.

BSO Multimedia complies with the “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) standard recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium. For logged-out users browsing with DNT enabled, BSO Multimedia’s analytics will not receive data about you, but we will do some first-party tracking in order to customize content and provide data to third-party service providers that enable BSO Multimedia Services to work. When you use BSO Multimedia while logged-in to your account, we cannot comply with DNT.

5. Modifying or Deleting Your Personal Information.

If you have a BSO Multimedia account, you can access, modify or export your personal information, or you can ask us to delete your account in the GDPR link below.

To protect information from accidental or malicious destruction, we may maintain residual copies for a brief time period. But, if you ask us to delete your account and we proceed, your information and content will be unrecoverable after that time. BSO Multimedia may preserve and maintain copies of your information when required to do so by law.

6. Data Security.

We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect data transmitted to and from our site. However, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee security. You use the Service at your own risk, and you’re responsible for taking reasonable measures to secure your account.

7. Business Transfers.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization or sale of assets such that your information would be transferred or become subject to a different privacy policy, we’ll notify you in advance so you can opt out of any such new policy by deleting your account before transfer.

8. Email from Medium.

Sometimes we’ll send you emails about your account, service changes or new policies. You can’t opt out of this type of “transactional” email (unless you delete your account). But, you can opt out of non-administrative emails such as digests and newsletters.

When your interact with an email sent from BSO Multimedia (such as opening an email or clicking on a particular link in an email), we may receive information about that interaction. We won’t email you to ask for your password or other account information. If you receive such an email, please send it to us so we can investigate.

9. Changes to this Policy.

BSO Multimedia may periodically update this Policy, and by using this website you are expected to review such Policy on a regular basis to ensure you understand all terms and conditions governing use of this website.

Data Protection Statement for European Union Users

1. Description of Processing Activity.

BSO Multimedia collects and stores personal information about its users to customize their user experience. It shares minimal data with its service providers.

2. Purposes of Processing.

– Provide, test, promote, and improve the services
– Gather usage statistics of services
– Provide customized user experience
– Provide access to the VPS
– Fight spam, fraud, and other abuse of services

3. Legal Bases.

In order to provide the services, BSO Multimedia collects and stores personal data about its users on the legal basis of consent given when you create an account and agree to the Privacy Policy.

BSO Multimedia also pursues its legitimate interests by collecting minimal data of logged out users to provide the services, as outlined above.

BSO Multimedia will consider related complaints in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation’s rights of the data subject, as well as rights of expression and access to information.

4. Public Nature of Personal Data.

Logged-in users interact with the BSO Multimedia services writing original posts that may be consumed by others users of the customer company and by others internal users of BSO Multimedia team work. Where such personal data may reveal special category protected data, it is processed on the basis that it is manifestly made public by the user in BSO Multimedia VPS system. Additional information on potential consequences of such processing can be found below. If you do not agree to this usage, do not create an account or use these features of BSO Multimedia services.

5. Categories of Personal Data Collected.

– Username
– Display name
– Avatar image
– Email address (non-public)
– Company
– Company address
– Session activity (security)
– IP address
– Browser information
– Reading history (on BSO Multimedia VPS network only)
– All VPS interactions (input/output)

6. Categories of Recipients.

BSO Multimedia shares minimal personal data with third-party processors in order to provide the Services. These processors offer at least the same level of data protection as that set out in this statement. This includes the following categories of recipients:

– Hosting, Storage, & Other Infrasructure
– Security
– Analytics
– Communication & Support

7. Payment Processors.

BSO Multimedia not provides services in conjunction with payment processors for the moment.

8. Embedded Content.

If BSO Multimedia posts may contain third-party embeds, which may in some cases collect and store personal data. The use of personal data by embedded content providers is not covered by this statement, but by the privacy policies of those sites or services.

9. Existence of Automated Decision-making.

BSO Multimedia not collects and stores personal data for automated decision-making to promote content tailored to the preferences and interests indicated by the user, and to their browsing history and network interactions.

10. Potential Consequences of Processing.

By creating an account on BSO Multimedia, users may make certain personal data that may be consumed by others users of the customer company and by others internal users of BSO Multimedia team work. This may in some cases constitute special category protected data which is considered manifestly made public by the user.

However, if you do not agree with and accept the risks of such usage, you may not use the services.

11. Cross-border Transfers.

By using BSO Multimedia Services, you authorize BSO Multimedia to transfer, store, and use your information in any country where BSO Multimedia operate. Where your data is disclosed to our processors, it is subject by contract to at least the same level of data protection as that set out in this statement.

12. Retention.

BSO Multimedia retains personal data associated with your account for the lifetime of your account. If you would like to delete your personal information, you can ask us to delete your account at any time. You can ask us to delete your account in the GDPR link below.

13. Rights of Data Subjects.

– If you sign up for a BSO Multimedia account, you may at any time request an export of your personal information from the GDPR link below.
– You may correct information associated with your account from the VPS user profile page or in the GDPR link below.
– You may withdraw consent by deleting your account at any time.  You can ask us to delete your account in the GDPR link below. (except to the extent BSO Multimedia is prevented by law from deleting your information).
– You may object at any time to the use of your personal data by contacting info@bsomultimedia.com.
– You may at any time lodge a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data by BSO Multimedia with the Supervisory Authority of your EU member state.
